Fuel filter part number mix up???

Went to replace my fuel filter and noticed the one installed is part fg986b. Well my owners guide supplement says fg800a which is what I bought. It's an 01 cobra. Went to install it and I don't see any way it will fit.

What filter do you guys use? Doesn't make sense to me that my guide says fg800a but I don't see how it will fit.

By the way this one that I removed is much smaller in diameter than the fg800a

Thanks, the SVT owner supplement was wrong. Said fg800a which in no way would fit in there. Got the right one now so good to go.
