FR500 Engine
Asking $10,500.
So this is something unique that I came across several years back. I picked it up with the intention of doing an SN-95 build, but life got in the way and I never got around to it. I'd still like to find a project for it, but I'd be nearly as happy just seeing someone do something interesting with it.
I was told this has essentially no time on it. It was basically used for testing and then stored away. At the time these engines were only available to race teams. I picked it up and stored it away for a couple years, fast forward to now.
As far as I know, the engine is complete except for the ECU. Pretty much any modular ECU should work, but a Holley Dominator system would be my choice. The intake it new in the box with new gaskets and fuel rails. I also have the ultra hard to find water neck. This thing is a piece of history on top of being a nasty N/A mill. Here is some info from the original catalog ad:
5.0 Liter "Cammer" Race Version - M-6007-R50 - Ford Racing Crate Motor

· Utilizes the same cylinder heads as used on the 2005 Ford GT
· 11.0:1 compression ratio
