Selling a 96 Mystic Cobra, Black leather interior, 5 speed manual, no modifications except for a aftermarket radio and a c&l cold air intake.
The car holds a Clean NJ title, however on the car fax it shows a prior salvage history when the car was almost brand new (1,600 miles in 1997) Says an accident with a light pole and was repaired etc. I Have NO idea how it received a clean title but it has one. All body lines look great, it's straight car, few minor minor scratches here and there, I will do a walk around video shortly.
The A/C blows ice, the car tracks perfectly straight, I see no frame damage etc, brakes are very good, clutch is great, tires are good, paint is nice and shiny, looked factory to me but again that's the history according to carfax. The engine is 1000000% as is the transmission and rear end. No grinds, ticks, taps, etc. the best running and shifting 96-98 I have driven in my lifetime and I have had several low mileage sn95 cars.
I am open to offers, currently the car needs some work done to the roof. I would say when the car was repaired they used a skim coat of bondo and it has cracked etc. This can be repaired by a body shop or just wrap the roof in black vinyl which I may end up doing. The car as it sits can be driven across country with ease, everything on it works, all fluids have been changed and it is ready to go.
Asking $6300 or best offer, feel free to call or text 203-695-4873 NO Trades.
Here is a shot of the roof from prior owner, it has been taped off and sprayed with a black primer to prevent rust and bare metal exposure. The car is in a covered area as well as it sits. With a few hours of bondo and sanding I would say it would be smooth as silk again. Vinyl wrap or repaint and call it a day. It is not visible on a quick, walk around of the car if someone were looking at it until you get on top of the car.
