Has anyone replaced the hydroboost with something more performance oriented?
Not saying the hydroboost is a bad system but seems a lot of ppl have issues with it now or then causing either hard or soft pedals and ABS issues.
In speaking with a Ford engineer who designed our brake system he said there is also a known issue called spike apply where the brake system can't handle immediate thrusts of the brake pedal and they were never able to properly fix in testing.
Anyway, I think I need to replace my hydroboost and I was wondering if I am going to spend the money is there a higher performance / more reliable alternative setup to the OEM equipment?
