Ford releases 5.2 block from the gt350!!

The story is on the front page, block looks like it has way more beef than the 5 liter. Might be a good option for someone building a motor, not sure if the 3k price is retail or not, but price doesn't seem too bad, so who's first????

Don't know too much about engine building, but how far could this thing be taken safely displacement wise? 5.4?

Wouldn't you need the full longblock? This isn't going to bolt up to the rest of the 5.0 I don't think lol

Coyote bits should hang off of it for the most part.

Be interested to see what they can actually be gotten for, and availability.

Last I heard the plant was running full out to just meet production requirements. Might be a while before they are in stock.

Sucks they cost as much as a sleeved block. One bad tune up or parts failure will ruin that block if you lift a head.
