We bench tested it. It's a momentary switch, so it won't work in my application.
Yup your 100% correct, In the escape circuit it latches thru another module (aka computer) until its turned off my means of another device actionI'd imagine the momentary contact signaled a computer to turn on the fog lights.

This is good news that this mysteriously 12vdc reappears...... BUT.....I think right about now im gonna grab a beer and shot and pray it dosent disappear again.......Ha ha. Glad it's not just me being cheap, Vinnie. BTW, went out there with my power probe, and sure as shit there is 12v at the red/black with the headlights on.
