yeah they say that about a lot of cars but it turns out to be not entirely true. you can always find a dealer willing to take x-plan, if you are patient LOLLisa on the Ford ST page said no X-plan for now on the ST due to low production volume.

Hope they do the RS next year! my SVTF is getting old.
39 mpg is the euro. From what I understand they measure the gallon differently than the US. I believe it translates into 32 mpg for the US.
That's why I deleted my post. I was gonna rub it in RDJ's face.:lol1:
. Going to rub what in my face? I can only assume you were pulling shit out of your ass again. That's why I deleted my post. I was gonna rub it in RDJ's face.:lol1:

It said in the article that the ST got 39.2mpg and I said it would get 40, but you disagreed unless you were hyperdriving. But that number was the European numbers which are rated differently than the US, it's about 32mpg here. It was all in fun, but I was wrong.
When do I ever pull shit out of my ass though?:dw:
So thought I would post my recent dealer experience here for those that might be interested in what I found out. As I have said multiple times I want to trade my 2012 titanium hatch in on a ST. A trade in would be better for me since I would save a pant load on taxes.
I had an idea that I could take a buyer in with me and the dealer might fine me a 22k trade in on my car and immediately turn around and sell it to my buyer for the sae 22k. That way I get a better price on my car, and save the taxes, the buyer gets a fair deal on the car, and the dealer gets two car sales instead of one. The sales guy said sure they would do that with no problem.
Then we started talking about the how much and when. He told me they have one st ordered and already sold and they were getting 2k over msrp. I told him I didn't mind paying a couple hundred over INVOICE but I wasn't paying a dime over msrp.
After some mor talking he said that if I wait a couple months and came in and ordered one I could most likely get the deal I was looking for since the newness would be gone. He said that if I offered 400 over invoice it would be a done deal. So that is what I plan to do. It will also give me a chance to really think about if it is rally what I want. I really really like the titanium and am a bit torn about trading it in.
Ah got you. And we all pull shit out of our ass. Unless you wer a bag:rolling:
dealer is in Georgetown ... right off 35. don't suppose selectron is hiring IT people are they? lolthat sounds like a good deal. im in austin all of the time for selectron. is the dealer in austin or round rock?
I am averaging 28 combined but I rarely do less than 85/90 on the highway. conservative driving will net you around 30-31 combines.curious, what kind of mpg do you get with your titanium focus?
