Re-read that post. It's 24 minutes to go from 20% to 80%.
Can you imagine taking 24 minutes to fill your gas tank from 1/4 to 3/4?
Can you imagine parking in your garage at night, plugging in your can and waking up to a full 'tank' everyday?

Yeah, me as well. I couldn't live with such a stark interior.I can't even get past the aesthetics, much less how it drives. The thing is butt ugly to me.
Good news for you then: You literally already are if you own a 2011-16 Fiesta or Focus.I'd rather push a Ford than drive a Tesla....

Ever sat in line for fuel at Costco? It takes 15-20 minutes around here. I'd imagine that the end goal is to have your car charging while you're shopping. Doesn't start to sound so bad.
I believe the goal is to do your your commute and charge back to full every night at home for 8hrs.So what happens when you have to wait in line at the super charger THEN have to wait for the charge cycle? At least at the pump you know they're out of there in 5 minutes. What happens when EV volume ramps up and everybody has them - what does that scenario look like at the charging station? Time for breakfast, lunch, dinner AND shopping?
It's just like the 'summon' feature - great if you're the only one using it - what happens when everybody in the office 'summons' their car at 5PM to the exit door?
.....until 75% of those shopping at Costco have all-electric vehicles and half of them are wanting to charge their batteries while shopping. Now there's an eventual problem that might be tough to deal with. There are MANY times I go to Costco for fuel and there are 8 lanes with at least 12 cars in each lane waiting for fuel. That right there is a lot of cars. Today we don't have all that many all-electric vehicles on the road, but as the manufacturers produce more and more of them, eventually IMO there is going to be a charging issue for those traveling.Ever sat in line for fuel at Costco?
