Thought I'd share an idle clip. It's my buddys car has 0.020 over forged manley pistons 10.5:1 compression, modmax forged rods, stock forged crank, Evenflow Soloutions street/strip ported heads, comp cams 106400, bassani mids and x pipe with SLP LM 2 catback. We just finshed building it this week and installed it friday. Before with the stock shortblock and heads he made 371rwhp NA, he's hoping to see 390-400 with the bump in compression and ported heads.:banana:

Im sorry to go off topic, but I'm interested in your FMIC setup. What size IC did you get? I imagine that you got 3" piping, can you describe what you used (ie. number of straight pipes, 45* pipes, 90* pipes)? If you're running a blow through system, what MAF/BOV are you running?

Yes it is 3" piping I'm running a blow through PMAS slot style MAF and a tial Q BOV. I bought the CX racing Intercooler kit from eBay to begin with came with an assortment of straights, 45*, 90* and 180* bends along with all the couplers. I recently changed over from the CX racing 31x12x3 IC to a treadstone TR12 4.5" core and picked up 5lbs of boost over the CX IC. I highly reccomend going with the treadstone IC the CX racing was very poor quality and extremly restrictive.

Once he gets it broke in and some miles on it we will be installing a D1SC and a return fuel system for e85. Then it's going to be a beast.

Are those stage three cams? They sound amazing I want those for my cobra so bad.

sounds mean!

what kinda gear is he running? Even with 4.56s it takes a second to get up on those cams but when it does it really moves out!

They are the comp 106400's they offer way to many cams to call them stage 1,2or 3's.

He has 4.30's in it right now. I'd like to see him get a ported short runner intake and 1/2" spacer along with a JLT and 90mm MAF. I think those will really let it sing.
