Ran flawlessly, even in 95* + temp -- ran cool. Averaged 304 miles per tank with 4:30's. Went 1,400 miles.

Installed the engine 18 months ago. No problems yet; 7200 miles.

BTW, Have T56 Viper Spec; (.5 6th gear)

That's fantastic! From the numbers it looks like you averaged about 23mpg? I plan to eventually go w/ the FR500 cams so it's good to know that it's a reliable yet potent setup!

Where did you go and ho was cabin noise on the trip?

23? I figured approx. 19mpg... I thought we had about a 16 gallon tank?

I couldn't remember exactly? If he's like me he didn't run it down to completely empty before filling up. Every time I fill up it's usually about 13.5 gal even though the needle reads just above "E". I guess we could just ask him what the mpg cruising speed was?

22-23, i don't understand do you guys cruise at 55 on the freeway. I go 75 or 80 and i get 17-18. I don't even get on it much anymore. Actually maybe two good runs a tank.

nope. 22-23 mpg at about 70-75mph. is your car tuned? that makes a big difference in the fuel efficiency. what are your mods?

Damn I bet that car is explosive. FR500 high rpm pull + 4.30 gears + close ratio 1-4 Viper T56. I would love to drive that car. I wish I was local. I'd give you some $$$ to rent it out for a few hours.

Would anyone do this? I'd never.

I know I would never rent my car out either:lol: . I just picture one gear pull to redline after the next and that sobers me up quick about even considering doing it for some local knuckleheads that have asked me to do it.

I have a jlt rai, naz's ported intake, bassani mids and catted x, and a fr500 catback. I got it tuned over at gregs, ret, in downey. 13.1 fuel ratio across the board. But i never even got good gas mileage stock.

huh, that's interesting. i guess that's just another way all cars are diffrerent. you could try putting on an eaton blower and see if that gives you a bit better gas mileage...:-D
