Firewall adjuster/quadrant installation write up

Hey guys, i did a search here looking for some tips or instructions on how to install these but couldn't find any. More importantly though, is I wanted to know whether or not i could install these without jacking the car up. While my Jack is available, all four of my jackstands are under another project im working on. So can i install these 2 parts without raising the car?

it will be tough to reach the fork without getting the car high enough

you need to disconnect the cable at the clutch fork in order to install these parts.

Thats what i thought, but i located a write up that mentioned that i would only need to disconnect it at the quadrant and not at the fork. I will be resusing my stock cable BTW.
