Agreed. One of my biggest regrets was not tuning my MKS sooner. I'm LMS tuned and loving every second of it (also have 40K left on my warranty but I'm not concerned about anything happening because it's a very solid tune)

Switch to a SSI tune and you will loose your mind. Best tuner out there.

I went with the 5.0 simply for future exhaust options.

Kind of wish we had waited for the new 10 sp and 3.5 powerboost.


But then I'll want the next redesign...then wait for more power etc...

Never pleased when buying new.

LMFAO! No I gotta it from Porter, I got $1,500 returning money. But your truck(I'm sure) is the reason. I saw it in May in the Newark shopping center and said I need that.

2.7 also, very impressed. And I can tow my mustang and have a drum of E85 in the bed. It's all I need .

Thanks, but the LMS tune is running great and I'm more than happy.

OP - The shifting improvements alone make a tune worth it. I flashed back to stock the other day to take my car in for recall work and I can't believe how lazy the factory shifts are. I'll retune it this weekend because I want to try and get a before and after acceleration video.

Nice, I love the Special Edition interior.

I've got a 15 Lariat/FX4 with the 5.0, old school chromed bumper though. Love it.

I honestly don't mind the chrome on the lariat's with the mirror caps and grille. I wouldn't have minded a 5.0 but this motor seems super capable and I knew I wasn't going to modify this.

Lol yea that was me. I was in my last semester at udel I really wasnt happy about parking my new truck in that lot. You said your in prices corner/Wilmington area? So am I, when did you get truck?

Yeah, same here. The fully equiped chrome package XLT (XTR in Canada) looks weird compared to the Sports.

I kinda kick my ass for not choosing a 3.5 EB though.

I have 2.7 also and i ran it a couple weeks ago just cause I was curious. 14.6@96. I was pretty happy with that for stock and i can get mid 20s mpg on hwy.

You say that, but don't take a spin in a tuned EB if you want to stick to it.
