Bought 8 of em, they were even beautifully packaged with Motorcraft bags with labeling. Was curious about hem after reading about all the fakes floating around. So, I been communicating with Ford's Global Brand Protection Department via email, sending pictures, etc. They offered to buy my coils for them to be sure. I got paranoid and was like, oh... I'm gonna go beyond my return date with Amazon and don't trust anyone with screwing me with PayPal. I suggest they send me replacements first... I still can't believe they honored that plan. Got em one day later, and will be mailing them my coils in question. I paid just over $300, but got back around $700 in the REAL DEALS, directly from Ford. I'm still freaked out. I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask about the 4 new oxygen sensors I got on Amazon as well, just asked today, but I don't expect them to investigate. Anyway, I started to look at my new NGK's, from Amazon as well, and I am not feeling good about anything they sell at this point. My point is, a fake plug can easily break off and cause a whole lot of damage, and I'm not taking the chance. As far as coils go, they can test fine at idle, but still lag under a load. Figured I'd do a real tuneup and this is making realize that I must really love this truck, cause this is a nightmare, I don't even trust car dealer parts anymore. Anyway, just thought I'd share.

I used a fake set just like that and they worked great. Low or high rpms, no miss or idle issues.

but if you get the real deal, can't beat that.

Wow. I normally buy my FoMoCo parts from Tasca or Autonation, but I have bought some off amazon and ebay. I had no idea.

When you said you purchased them from Amazon, do you mean from "amazon", or from a vendor on amazon?
