I am thinking of getting some cat backs for my '04 Cobra - not sure what brand yet, still researching. When removing stock system, do you need to cut anything? When researching for SLPs I saw an install guide on American Muscle that said to use a Dremel tool to cut some hanger tips. How To Install A Mustang SLP Loudmouth Catback (1999-2004 Cobra) - Installation Instructions at AmericanMuscle.com Did anyone else have to do any cutting? I installed SLP 1 axle back on my '05 GT without any cutting.

Thanks, Jay

You don`t have to cut anything. Either pry the hangers out with a big screwdriver/bar or use the tool made for this.
I actually spray a little armorall on the hangers to help removing/installing them.

Yup I've taken my exhaust of more times than I can count. Alot of WD40 or some other kind of lube will go a VERY long way!
