I have no doubt the OP won the race.
I will also say that I have always agreed with Quik Z06 on this in the past.

I don't race on the street but on the strip a cobra would need 100rwhp more than me to keep up to my 03Z. The z launches better too which helps.

I would question how good a driver the guy in the Z was with that particular car.
The car is not that easy to get maximum performance from esp on street tires.
It easier for me to powershift a cobra than a vette as well.
Nice kill either way, just some additional input the think about.

Honestly, I beat a 02"-04' z06 bye atleast 5 cars(didn't know his mods). Their are some drivers that don't have a clue on where to shift their cars.

Ok so your a vert and wight about what 3800-3900lbs and make about 390 to the wheels with your mods right ?
He weighs about 3120 and makes like 300-350rwhp to the wheels...
About a 600 lbs difference and you still pulled him up top ?

HaHa a c5 zo6 does not weigh 3,120! Real world weight is 03 vert 3,780 03' zo6 3,270. Still 500 pounds though!!!

Haters always doubt. I have seen bone a bone stock car with the addition of a catback gain 50 rwhp with before and after dyno vids to prove it. Probably closer to 410-420 is my guess with a good shifter too.

So Terminators DO have magical gains from a catback. I knew it!

maybe with a catback AND a tune...but i highly doubt he gained 50rwhp from JUST a catback...

it helps...but nothing magical!...now a pulley! thats magical gains! :burnout:

So a friend of mine was messing with me on the freeway, ill keep this short.

We do 2 45 mph rolls, we go at it and hes out maybe 3/4 of a car untill 90 and i start to reel him back in and I put about 1/2 car to a fender on him at around 115 and shut it down top of fourth!!

Not bad for a full weight, Vert with just a midpipe and cb. Oh and a mgw shifter handle (best money ever spent)!!!

His car has a intake(unknown) and HRE's

Good kill, but something is wrong with your friend's car or his driving skills.

So basically we had a guy in the Z06 who just got out driven by the guy in the Cobra. So what? Not that big of a deal.

Cool race, I guess.
