The Mustang 5.0 has come a loooong way!
For comparison I have a 93 Cobra with a factory engine, trans, with a blower (pushing almost 12 psi when its cold), long tubes, x pipe, flowmaster cat back, and 3.73 gears. Similar suspension mods and wheels. So basically the same mods (although I have a manual trans which makes the new car even more impressive) and this car is 1 FULL SECOND FASTER and 14 MPH faster! Simply amazing! AND the new car is at least a couple hundred lbs. heavier than my 3200lbs car.

I am in awe this is on stock internals. Dreamin of 12 psi boosted daily driver 5.0.

Awesome!!! just seen a boss yesterday... if it didn't have a sold sticker on it bad things might have happened.
Stock motor 12.5 psi ... a time bomb for sure, but its still very cool.
Many thousands of dollars in bolt-ons plus 109 octane is not exactly what I'd call stock, but the performance is impressive. I'd rather have my engine for the long term, but that Coyote engine is a great achievement from Ford.
