Ever owned a Datsun truck?

In my current quest to have a "cool" daily driver, I have started to think of getting a Datsun truck, has anyone here ever owned one?

Anything to look out for? I know there is always the rust problem when getting a car/ truck this old.

Is that one you're considering? Gotta love the helmet stuck on the end of the antenna. LOL!

My son used to own one. He didn't have it all that long but didn't have any issues that I recall. You might try finding a Datsun forum and get more input there. Just a thought. Here are a couple that I found.

this is the one I'm looking at....first things first, its getting painted if I get it.

My friend had that exact truck in the factory orange color.
I would paint it orange.
