Ever get that "loose" feeling?

I went on a trip from VA to SC and when I was down there, i rotated the tires. The car had about 9k miles. I started to notice that the front end felt a lot more sensitive to the road conditions and bumps. It feels like I just got a big case of bumpsteer. I re-checked the lugs and I don't think the belts are out on the tires. Could this be due to the almost non existant tread or is this just common aging of the car?

Could be that the rear now front tire pressures are higher then before.

wheel bearings are first thing I'd check

how many miles?

I noticed the same issue when I rotated my tires last weekend also. The tread up front is more worn then the back. Would it make that big of a difference?
