I was lucky enough to make it into the Georgia 1/2 Mile Speed Shootout this weekend and overall, I had a blast. However, during my third run, after I went through the timing beams, I shifted into neutral and hit the brakes...the car instantly died giving me no power to the brakes or steering! I kept the clutch pushed in and turned the ignition switch and it fired back up easing my pucker factor a little. The next run, it did the same thing so I decided to call it a day. I've had something similar happen when pulling up to a stoplight after rapid deceleration. Anybody have any thoughts as to what caused this and how to prevent it in the future?
