EGT (Exhaust Gas Temp) Gauge

Anyone using one of these in your Turbo Cobra? I have one in my Turbo Eclipse..very good indicator if your knocking in high RPM range.I don't like that fact that cobra's don't have knock sensors :fm: Even if your not using one, what would be the best runner to tap? Isn't #7 supposed to be the hottest? That would be where I would want to install it.

I was planning on getting one, but haven't. I had a bung welded in to my downpipe, but that might not be the best place. I personally have not researched it as of yet.

Thanks...you want it as close to the cylinder head as possible to get an accurate reading of how hot the gases are...when your EGT's rise fast, that mean's you should probably get off the throttle.
