I was perusing eBay for parts and decided to purchase an EGR Restrictor due to what it says it does and cause it was $5.00;-):
"The EGR Restricator is used in place of your stock EGR gasket. The EGR Restrictor simply restricts the hot exhaust gases that flow through the EGR into the manifold/plenum. The EGR opens up on decelaration, and lets the hot gases go through, which causes heat on top of the engine, which causes loss of horsepower, but by replacing your stock EGR gasket with this Mr. Gasket EGR Restrictor reduces the hot air intake by about 85% .
By keeping the heat out of your intake plenum, you will add horsepower"
Check the two links:

Now I'm not expecting a big gain, or even any gain, but does anyone agree with the theory applied in reference to the heat, in the above explanation? I am running an O/R X so I figured no harm either way to emissions.
Thanks in advance
