Edelbrock offers TVS blowers that will boost your S550 to 732 horsepower

Boost and Mustangs are definitely fast friends. Now, for owners of the latest Mustangs, there is a new option for adding boost—Edelbrock’s E-Force Supercharger. This system is now available for owners of 2015-2016 Mustang GTs that could use 690 to 732 horsepower. Depending on what Stage you order, the kits also pack a powertrain warranty and emissions legality.
“These E-Force systems are the first to feature the new DP-3C intercooler. DP-3C references the ‘Dual-Pass Three Core’ design. With this new design, the intake air charge passes through the intercooler twice; first pass is from the rotors up through the center core and the second pass is when the air charge goes down into the runners,” says Edelbrock. “The DP-3C intercooler also features 45 percent more surface area over the previous Mustang designs, allowing this system to achieve lower intake air temps for increased power output.”
Edelbrock’s supercharger systems are available in three stages. The Stage 1 kit promises 690 horsepower and 588 lb-ft of torque and can be purchased with (PN 1586) and without a tuner (PN 15860). Those seeking more power can opt for the Stage 2 Street System (PN 15862). It includes a tuner and is said to deliver 732 horsepower and 690 lb-ft of torque. Those ready to supply their own custom calibrations and supporting hardware can opt for the Stage 3 Pro-Tuner System Without Tuner (PN 15863).
“The Stage 1 system includes everything you need to bolt it on under the hood, including supercharger/manifold assembly, air-to-water intercooler system and a handheld programmer to properly tune the factory ECU for the added power.” the company added. “The Stage 2 system includes all of the same components, plus a larger bore throttle body, cold air intake system, higher output fuel pump and 60 lb/hr injectors to support the added performance. Stage 2 components also available as an upgrade kit for those who already own a Stage 1 kit.”
Both the Stage 1 and 2 systems will carry 50-state emissions legality with a pending California Air Resources Board Executive Order Number. These two systems will also carry a three-year, 36,000-mile powertrain warranty good for up to $16,500 in repairs.
Not only does the Edelbrock E-Force supercharger for the 2015+ Mustang promise performance gains, the Stage 1 and 2 systems include a powertrain warranty and a CARB EO number. Better yet, they bolt right on with no cutting or body modifications.
If you install the Stage 2 system, you can expect your 2015+ Mustang GT to gain a whopping 297 hp and 290 lb-ft of torque.
