I carry a SOG folding pocket knife nearly every time I leave the house. Didn't know how handy it would be until I started carrying. When I conceal carry it's a XDS .45. I got into paracording and usually wear a paracord bracelet as well, but that's just because I like them. Not terribly useful day to day.

I don't carry a flashlight or multitool on me, but I do like to keep a flashlight in the vehicles and the multitool in the truck.

I like your style rotor_powered, I'm a Comp-Tac fanatic they're a great company. They released some cool gear at SHOT this year, I just got their QB2 in the mail yesterday, it's designed to fit multiple double stack-width polymers.
For me,
Firearm: Kel-Tec PF-9 with Trac-grips. Night sights are in the mail, stock ones are terrible.
Knife: Ken Onion edition Kershaw, I love this little bastard.
Holster: Comp-Tac neutral can't, running the Comp-Tac Kydex Reinforced Velcro lined belt (I have to tuck my shirt in every day at work)
Cell phone provides my lighting, multi-tool stays in the truck.

Quick question for you guys, can I get some recommendations on custom Kydex mold companies in Texas, I'm a lefty and I need a OWB left handed holster that can holster polymers equipped with a Streamlight TLR-3, all I found online was right handed ones.

Nice. My G43 is showing up tomorrow, it's going to be my summer carry. I'm not sure on a holster for it yet, been wanting to try an Alien Gear but I may just stay with what I know works for me.

Some good ideas in here.

Have a 3" Colt defender, but lately haven't been carrying at all.

do the guys that carry never drink, or do you plan it out and leave the gun at home if you know you're going out

Back when I used to drink I would just leave it at home. I don't drink anymore when I'm out. I usually have a few beers at home with a friend that comes to visit every other month but that's it.

Edc is a Gerber fast action (I think it's called, the one with the spring assist open), stream light flash light and od green Springfield xd subcompact 40 in spring/summer and full size Smith and Wesson M&P9 in fall/winter

Yea great thread idea BTW, the possibilities are endless on EDC options.

This basically an extension of the gun porn thread. I too thought it was a great thread idea at first as I was interested in some ideas about EDC. Apparently no one carries keys and wallets anymore lol.

Do have a question tho, is it considered EDC if its in my car?

Edited for 2k lol...chewed up Tommy Hilfiger wallet by my pit when she was a puppy, eye lube because my eyes are dry from lasik and staring at SVTP all day, Burts Bees Wax because my pussy lips get chapped sometimes, and my trusty Boosted shades :coolman::coolman:

Bad guys don't care if you've been drinking or not. I'll leave it in the truck.

I agree. The only time mine stays at home, which is very rare, is when I absolutely know I'll be going to the bar, staying at the bar, and driving home and going no where else. But, if I'm going to a buddies, and happen to wind up at a bar, well then it is what it is and it stays in the truck. I've become a lot more relaxed about it, I used to leave it at home if I was going out to drink regardless. Play it safe, be responsible and use common sense, the choice should be pretty easy if you're going to a kegger.

I have a bottle opener on my EDC Key-ring. Actually gets used fairly often too.

Agree. Common sense trumps all. I don't always follow the law to the T in regards to where and when I carry. My and my family's safety are more important to me than some politician's idea of right and wrong.
