I hated the stock shifter and even the Tri-Ax, though better, was still too much of a reach to be comfortable especially when power shifting
I made this bracket which moved the handle 1/4" to the left and almost 2" back.
Its easy to reach and works great

works for the stock shifter as well

Works for me

Much easier.
The shifter position is within easy reach
I don't like crowding the steering wheel when driving and this just makes it more like the ergonomics of the newer stangs

I am going to give the steeda comfort pro handle a try. It does the same thing plus it makes it like about 2 inches taller for more leverage and moves it over about 1.5 inches to the left. I read a while back that most of the guys that where shifting like bad asses in vids and stuff where running longer throw rather than shorter throw for more leverage. If that does not do it for me then I will try out the rock crusher stick from UPR. That one looks pretty bad ass also.

I did that same thing in my Mach 1 but I angled the stick back a little as well. I'm also using the chrome Hurst stick which puts it back even furthur. This is it in neutral.
