Here around the midwest we have quite a few gas stations with e85. And ive had a 88 Gt that is on e85 and i love it.

So i decided why not make the cobra e85. Its a comp orange with 10k miles.

Mods:

80lb injectors
Posi Race port
Ported Billetflow plenum
Billetflow TB
JLT CAI
2.76 pulley upper only.
Bassani Exhaust. Stock manifolds
BA3000 MAF.
KB BAP
E85

Car made 495hp and 475tq on a mustang dyno. Corrected.

Only 21 degrees of timing. We added another degree but it only gained 3hp. I didnt feel like pushing it for only 3 more hp.

AFR is around 11.3 to 11.5

Comments? Opinions?

The car runs very well.

I expected over 500rwhp and more timing. Ported blower cars with uppers on pump usually make over 500rwhp to begin with. My friend's car with an upper only is running probably about 470rwhp on pump with no port.

Those probly are dynojet numbers.

i should make around 570 on the dynojet here in town.

It has been proven with many cars in town that there is about a 16% difference.

Sorry guys havent been on in a while.

Busy building a 5.3 in my other fox body. lmao.

Yes they are stock pumps with BAP. But skip that, because i have since ran into issues when i got cold. Started dropping fuel pressure. So i have GT pumps waiting to go in.
