Dyno video from earlier today with my new DD. 2018 Fiesta ST

Car is definitely more eager in 1-2-3, and 4th. Its not fast by any means, but she rips good for what it is.

Really happy with the gains from 2500-4500 where you drive around in all the time. Makes the car lots of fun on the street and backroads. Doesn't make enough power to break anything expensive or triple the speedlimit and go to prison haha

Took the car right off the dyno and headed down to CT to sell some winter wheels left over from my RS. Tune drives MINT. 300 miles round trip, averaged 35.0mpg

Never been so excited for 190WHP lol

I am obsessed with getting one of these for DD. Have you looked at bigger turbo and downpipe?

At the moment, no.

Tuner said FMIC, intake, full exhaust is worth 10-20 max on the car. Not worth the investment.

I got this thing to save money after dumping the RS as a Daily. I'll try to refrain from a hybrid turbo

Awesome! I love these little cars.

Look at that tq drop like a lead balloon with rpm.

Poor thing needs a bigger turbo and larger exhaust!

Anyone ever measure the exhaust pressure vs manifold pressure on one of these cars?

Yes and no...

It's only a 1.6L so you got to sacrifice either lag or power.

Honestly, ALL of Ford's ecoboost engines kinda have this same shape to their curve
I wonder how a Focus ST motor would do in one of these.

I want one for a DD, but im not done modding the viper :(
The Focus 2.0 seems to blow up... Often

Haven't read too many failures on the 1.6

I still haven't driven one, but I've heard nothing but great things about them. Also, it is really funny how amused you can be with sub 200 WHP with a fun platform.

It takes some time to get used to the driving position.

The headrests are uncomfortable because they don't lean back. I got some retractable head rests from a Focus. That fixed that.

Then I had to get a short shift kit so the shifter doesn't go as forward for 1-3-5 gears and then a taller shift knob. Just so it's easier to use

Grab the FMIC and retune it. Youll gain quite a bit. Especially on E30. I made nearly 220whp on my Dizzy E30 tune. The car doesnt heat soak as much with the larger front mount.

Intake and exhaust are useless as stated although a good exhaust catback sounds great. The MBRP exhaust drones like crazy but so far the Magnaflow has been great. Nothing but good things to say.

Good numbers! ST's are some of the best daily drivers out there. My Focus made 262/374 with minimal mods. Lots of fun to drive and gets decent gas mileage

Yeah I'm going to try to keep the car as is for a while. No e30

2.0's blow up cause there are a million shit tuners out there. Do it right and they'll last.

Lotta folks stroke the 2.0 to 2.3 and put down decent numbers with no reliability issues.

These cars are cheap and easy to get. Lotta stupid folks improperly mod, tune, and blow them up.
