I will finally be getting my car on a dyno when I get home from work next week. We have a local performance shop that has just opened up and they have a Dynocom Dyno. Has anyone on here ever used this brand? It has and Eddie brake set up and he says it also can do 1/4 mile runs. Has anyone ever did a simulated 1/4 mile on a dyno also, if so how is it compared to real numbers from a strip. Any experiences with this brand would be appreciated.

I believe AEDs dyno is a Dynocom. It does it's function of telling you if changes make more power or not and that's what really matters. I dyno is only a tool to measure gains and losses.

I have no idea about the 1/4 simulation.

The 1/4 mile feature is pure BS IMO. It's not accurate at all and it's scary as shit doing a 1/4 mile pull on the dyno!

Lmao, I have seen cars come off the dyno. I can only imagine.

My buddy is actually in a lawsuit, his down pipe melted the strap enough for it to break. Scary. This was on a AWD dyno.
