Check the U joints while you have it out, replace as necessary, look for obvious damage, unless it was vibrating before you took it apart, it should be good to go

The only guys I've seen replace them are making closer 4 digit power and usually hit the strip a lot. As mentioned check your u-joints. I finally changed mine at 129k. At 13k I don't think you have to worry.

The stock one is more than sufficient. Also the dss one is heavier than stock as well, I know because I bought one. Spend your money elsewhere on the car

I put in heavy duty u joints when I had mine shortened for the magnum. I asked the driveshaft shop that did it and he said it will handle well over 1000 hp on a street car just fine. Hard launches at the track with repeated clutch dumps would be a different story.

Don’t worry about it unless you are building a drag car.
