It now wiggled and jumps while moving. Can I fix myself if so how to do?

What part is wiggling? Is it the glass or the housing?
The same thing happened to my mirror. I had a car cover on and the wind was so intense that it broke something internally and its now all floppy too. The glass and all of the plastic housing is fine, just something is keeping it from locking in the out position. So i'm interested in this thread too.
Pop the mirror out and put a thin piece of foam or cardboard behind it. Problem solved

I think it's the housing itself that's broken. Not where the glass snaps on to the motor. He's probably going to have to take it off and take it apart.
The mirror is not loose in housing . The housing is flopping around.

I wish more people would chime in on this. Has no one else had this problem or had their mirror apart to help diagnose the problem?
Did u check the trox screw right underneath the mirror? That being lose causes the whole joint to wiggle
