I agree that it's a $25-$28k car. I'd be willing to go $28k if its perfect in every aspect. I just have to find out if they understand the market on the car.
Generally they are open to negotiation. Although they sell lamborghini's and ferrari's and Aston Martins, they do sell a lot of BMW's too. They deal with cars high and low. I am in the area and a friend of mine bought a BMW from them a couple of years back. It was a M3 and he said it was sold at fair market value. But he did say he had to do some negotiation to get the price down.
I did make a contingent offer - basically gave them a range depending on the car. I think it's fair given the current market. If they aren't willing to come down to my range, I think they'll be stuck with the car for a long time. Unless someone with too much money to spend falls in love. If they do some research, they'll see what the market really is on the car and that my offer is fair.
Like was said above, if you don't ask you won't know. It can't hurt to try.
Are any of the the individuals above that mentioned they are in the area willing to stop by and take a look at the car in person and give me some feedback? I'd be willing to compensate you for your time. I can hook you up with the salesman I'm dealing with.
I'd really like someone to pick the car apart for my own knowledge as well as to help with my negotiations.
Blood enterprise built a motor in my buddys 68 fastback and it was NOT built right. For example they had incorrect length connecting rods in it and ended up breaking a rocker stud. He had the entire engine rebuilt by a proper shop.
Ryan, This is the Cobra that I tried to buy back in 2005 but didn't act quick enough and missed out. Took me 8 years to find another one like it.This was on Ebay at Master Pontiac in South Carolina at that time period and was all stock except for the Bassani catback and had 1500 miles.I have some pictures of it and also there is a Oasis report on this forum . I'll find them and post them.

Not sure if you know the answer but the repair on the oasis report looks to be pre-delivery. Sounds like it wasn't damaged, just a manufacture issue with the paint. Would you agree?
Were you talking about my car when you said there was another blue / tan convert. in NJ? I remember one 10 years ago. but again I couldn't track it down.
No.....its a different car. Its near Paramus. Only problem is they painted a huge Snake on the hood. Its not my style. Other than that, seems like a nice 14000 mile car. 2.8 KB, return style fuel system, etc.
I think they'll be stuck with that car for a while. They won't take less than $34k. They were dumb enough to turn down a $32k offer from someone else - at least that's what they are saying.
I live in wa and have heard mixed reviews of blood more bad then good. Thinking not getting it may be a better idea. I'd be more inclined to buy one off here. If you want that color combo just wait it out I have seen it come up a few times for sale in the last year.
