Do Radar Jammers work?

If you guys read between the lines, every LEO on this forum is telling you they work. If they didn't work why would the FCC and all the States be banning them. Why would they waste all this money making laws/enforcing them if they didn't work. The FCC wouldn't have spent millions of dollars to pass these laws for something that didn't work. And if they did it just goes to show how screwed up the system is.Our tax dallor pissed away!

Ask your self this question?

How can you get in trouble if you aren't braking the "LAW". (remember LEO's they don't work). How can a State fine you up to $1000.00 and up to a year in jail if you're NOT braking the law?

It would be like having a cigarette that looked like a "joint" and a LEO arresting you for a look-a-like laying on the dash of your car.. If they don't work you're NOT braking a law !!!! How hard is that to understand, comon sense poeple !

So the next time anyone gets a ticket for using a jammer ask the LEO what law you were braking since the jammers don't work, cause you clearly weren't braking the law if they don't work. You're not jamming anything..............

So by the admission of the LEO's on this board, the jammer's don't work. By your admission, they do work. Yet you say that police shouldn't be able to give you a ticket, because by their admission, they dont work; however, you know they do, so you should get the ticket...

How can a LEO knowing issue someone a ticket if they themself know that they don't work and that that person isn't braking the law ?

The FCC law you are talking about controls the transmitting of signals at certain frequencies. It does apply only to radar jammers, it applies to everything that transmits a frequency. For example: Every police agency that operates a radar unit must possess an FCC license to use that radar. Every agency that operates the radios that we talk on has to have an FCC license for transmitting with those devices. Even your handheld Talkabouts have an FCC license with them.

It doesnt matter if they work to block or jam a radar frequency, it is that they are transmitters that produce a frequency that the FCC has ruled you must possess a license for.

It is similar to fact that it is illegal to sell baking soda if you are passing it off as cocaine, even though it wont get anyone high.

And this is all beside the fact that L.E.O.'s enforce the laws, they dont make them!! So, it doesnt matter what we think of the law.
