Do i need a tune?

so yesterday I swapped out my stock blower for a stage 6 steggy, nothing else was changed besides the blower, same pulley setup, ive read you don't need a tune and ive also read that you do, can someone help me out?

You need a tune, mass air meter help, and fuel pump help at the least. Sorry.

Yes that is a big change you definetely need to have a tune before you put any boost to that motor

If you haven't increased boost, changed the MAF, or changed the injectors, in theory you shouldn't need a tune. I would be datalogging it to see for sure though. The air flow model you had before should be the same.

I'm about to do the same but with a stage 7. Same pulley setup that my current tune is for. I emailed steggy and they responded that no new tune is required. They did recommend using ngk tr8 plugs though.

You aren't bolting on a ported blower and not needing something with fuel and maf mods and that requires a tune. These people claiming no....well, they are a special type of person. I have seen MAF upgrades needed with a 2.76 upper ONLY.
