Differential question

I am in the market for a new differential and am looking for some advice. The car is a 2013 GT A6. It is a daily driver. I am looking for something that is a happy compromise between road racing and drag racing. The budget is ~$900.

Thoughts???

Detroit tru-trac is great and should come in way under budget :thumbsup:

Auburn Pro. Tru tracs and Torsens suck for drag racing.

really depends on how much road racing you plan on doing and vice versa for drag racing... The Tru-Trac/worm gear style diff will be hands down better on a road course, but if you plan on spending a lot more time drag racing, then I would not buy a Tru-Trac etc. A Tru-Trac is just fine if you wanna make a 1/4 pass every once and awhile.
