Did straight pipes on my C6 Z06

Why not just keep the dual mode exhaust and get a nice set of headers? You would gain power, an awesome sound, and you could have it loud when you wanted, and quiet if youre going on a long cruise, or trying to have a convo with someone...

Not digging the sound at idle much at all, but once you depressed the loud pedal it sounded great!

Beautiful car, but I am not a fan of the straight pipes. Upon start up I began day dreaming of fishing and wake boarding. That sounded way too boat-ish Not the sound that should be coming from a Z06. Leave the straight pipes to Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo's and Ford GT's.

Would love to hear it with Headers, and bullets. Sounds SICK at WOT. And sounds pissed off down low. Very similar to my 225 Mercury Optimax's though. But...I always thought those sounded mean when I was flushing em out.

I know a guy that has straight pipes on his c6z and I agree. At idle it sounds like shit but as soon as he starts driving it sounds good.
