I may have screwed up and I need your input, I bought je 4.6 dished *3 valve* pistons online for a lot cheaper than new. I figured the guy didn't know what he was talking about and was just saying 3 valve because he bought them for his 3 valve mustang, I just looked on JE's site and there is a difference between the 3 valve dished and 4 valve dished. The difference on their chart is the "Block Ht." which is 8.925 for 4v and 8.933 for 3v. Im assuming this is the height of the cylinders making me believe that the 3v pistons are slightly offset upwards lowering displacement to account for the taller decks to obtain 4.6l size, am I right? Can I even use these? help a brother out!

thanks,
Pat

why dont you give them a call and ask them about the differences? they will know the most about their own product
