My ship..Coastal Minesweeper made of wood and GRP or glass reinforced plastic. We use sonar to find underwater mines and remote sub to dispose of them.

When underwater mines go boom..

no...not even close~! im a rescue swimmer and H-60 crewman. i wish i was a spec-ops crewman though. i have just been fairly fortunate to get orders to squadrons that dont do traditional navy shit missions.

I'll play some more...back in the day the Blue Marlon Heavy Lift ship came to Texas and picked up two of our coastal minehunters. Took us a month at 18 knots and 10,000 miles to get to Bahrain. A month later...she came back to the Middle East to pick up the USS Cole after the terrorist attack in Yemen that took the lives of 17 sailors.
