I wish they either also tested the Boss Laguna Seca or compared the LS to the Grand Sport. And, I would have loved to see the two cars battling it out at Laguna Seca (or a similar track). Nice article, though, and about what I expected. But as the article concluded "the Grand Sport costs nearly 70% more than the Boss, but each of us decided that it is not 70% more car". I'd happily take either one, though.
Pretty good read, they should pit a base Corvette to a GT500. Not a $73,000 GS with every single option including magnetic ride from the ZR1. The Boss is a great car, but in the end you truly do get what you pay for.
Obviously a 2 seater sports car at that price is going to offer a level of performance that will be impossible to match in a steel bodied pony car with 2 seats in the back and a price tag that reads $30,000 less. :beer:
