I have my stock oil cooler off at the moment and about the put a 2v GT adapter on... it seems like the passages on the 2v and the cobra cooler are pretty small compared to the gasket and block.

Has anybody ever gasket matched their oil adapter? I mean, I dont see how it could hurt. But would it honestly help?

Im talking about the coolant AND the oil openings fyi.

I'm looking to delete it also. It seems like when the engine is cold, the coolant heats the oil for emissions purposes like mentioned. When it's warm, I'm not sure how effective it is in cooling the oil. I know people don't have any issues deleting it but has anybody actually measured the oil temp difference?

Is the 2V GT adapter a direct swap? Meaning, will the hose still fit that connects to the OEM Cobra t-stat housing? If not, what hose are you guys using?

Cool, thanks. Anybody use the 3V adapter? It puts the filter at a better angle.
