So these cars drop 1k in value for every 1200 miles or so? Sticker on that car, assuming no recaros, was about 63-64. 17k drop in 2 years? That's brutal. And never selling my car. I have 21k miles. Bought mine for 55k with 18k miles. SVTPP, TP, NAV, Recaros, glass roof. With a sticker at 68, I thought 55 was a good price.

Congrats, that's a great deal. I just listed mine, half the mileage, for $52.5K / BO, which I thought was pretty fair.

holy shit these cars are tanking like that? 37,7 for a trinity car is insane!

Yeah I was NOT expecting this. Especially when there isn't even another GT500 out yet. 2010's were mid to high 30's in 2015. Don't get how these could drop so quickly.

Tax value is not FMV.

They take a base value for the car and depreciate it by a % every year.

The tax value on my 1969 Mustang is $100. Thats right $100. I currently have it insured for over 16,000

Supply and demand. The supply of other High-horsepower, High-performance options in the market (including our very own GT350) drives down the value/price. Econ 101.

yeah but...its worth $100....

I'm just kidding, I knew that, but damn. I was shopping 13/14 cars when I bought my cobra, and they were mid 50s. They're coming down hard, which is the opposite of what I expected as they're the 'last big displacement blown v8' that ford is going to manufacture for a bit.
