maybe it's the YouTube upload but I can't read a single tag in the garmin video

I've been thinking about this as well, if nothing else I'll end up with some amusing shit to upload now and then... you see all kinds of shit driving through the hood on a daily basis

I usually keep my distance when following people, so it's pretty hard to capture a licence plate that far out, IMO. Night video's are the worst at capturing plates with the reflection, regardless of camera.

You can use the cigarette lighter or as jaxbusa mentioned. Just make sure it's the correct fuse style.
