Dark lord day... anyone going?

My brewing partner got tickets and I'm the lucky one that gets to be his guest, we will be in the area from noon Friday til sometime sunday. Anyone else going? Any locals with recommendations for bars/food places?

Wow, I knew Dark Lord Day was a big deal (I live minutes from Three Floyds) but I didn't realize it was THAT big of a deal. Nice! Enjoy!

Yeah your fortunate to have one of the most highly regarded breweries in the nation right in your backyard.

I mean part of it is availability (small distribution leads to "rareness") which on BA somehow usually equates to higher marks.... but that many beers rated as world class with most having at least a few thousand reviews.....

I'm looking forward to it since I'll use it as inspiration for the 40 gallons of 15%+ RIS ill be brewing to fill our 53 gallon Jim beam barrel this summer!
I am also super stoked that we're staying at the Hampton Inn in Munster, 1.4 miles from the brewery :rockon:
