So I was cruising down a street here in Lincoln in my daily driver, and right before I cross a random intersection a damn green Geo pulls out into my lane, then stops completely. I had less then a second to nail my brakes (in the rain) and I smoked the car head-on around 35-40mph.
When I seen the car pull out, I said to myself "OH FoCK... THIS IS REALLY GONNA HURT" and I put both hands on the steering wheel and braced myself as I closed my eyes. Well, believe it or not, the air bag actually deployed and saved me from slamming my chest into my steering wheel.
After I opened my eyes and realized what the hell just happened, I pulled the nut sack of an air bag off my lap and ran over to see if this lady was alright. She was an older Mexican lady, and all she did is start swearing, saying that her chest hurt (from not wearing a seat belt), and said that she didn't have any insurance.

At this point I am kinda glad that bitch got hurt, but I don't know if I will even get any money out of this deal. The SScort was by far the best car I have ever owned, and it was just taken away by some lady that thinks it is ok to run around without insurance.

I went to the towing company today, and I had to pay the $72 dollar towing bill just to get my belongs out of my car, so I just said screw it and drove the car out of there. I figured I might was well take it to the junkyard myself if I have to pay $72 bucks just to get my shit out of the car. I am not happy.

Actually the swelling and the red part went away, but now it hurts like a bitch if I got outside in the cold. I don't know why exactly.

My other arm has a huge browse from the airbag. It really hurts too. lol.

Ya, she was ticketed for something (for pulling out in front of me), and also for no insurance and no seat belt I believe.

I have decieded to take her to small claims. I will be suing her for $500 dollars, which I feel is totally fair for destroying a perfectly good car of mine. Its not too much, but enough to make it straight with me. I will also be asking $72 dollars for the towing bill that I just paid. I feel this would be a fair action. :shrug:
