Cruise Control Switch

My cruise control switch on the left side is cracked real bad I found the assembly to replace it but is it just pop out the old and replace it with the new being pretty simple?

You have to take the airbag off to replace the assembly. It's not a difficult job, just remember to unhook the battery.

Is this a common problem with the switches? Mine cracked in pieces also, where did you get the replacement?

Yes, it's a common problem. I replaced mine last year and found the part number yesterday, but I see you have been provided with it.

Mine aren't broken but the light doesn't work on one side of the stearing wheel, I was thinking instead of fixing it I would just make the other side not work. I mean not like we needs the light to trun on cruise
