What happens if I try to flash my ecu with a z*** code with a flash tuner that has x*** ecu coded program in it.

If it is a SCT tuner, it will fail to load the flash if the part #'s are different.
Can you give us the exact Catch Codes?

It's a kenne bell flash tuner. I'll check my code this evening. The one the flash tuner is set up for is xfn2
On the new Coyote platform you can flash a new ECU code into a different computer. Do it all the time.
If the part # families are the same this is true.

Yes I'm installing a kenne bell. The kit has the flash tuner with it but it's for a different ecu code.
