Contemplating buying Corbeau LG1s as I don't think the stock Cobra seats are all that comfortable. I'm 6 ft, 210, 36 inch waist and the seats feel too narrow.

Before I pull the trigger a couple questions.....

I know they can be bought with brackets and they are a quick swap, but do they sit significantly lower than the stock seats with CB seat brackets?

How adjusatable are they. Not looking for electric type adjustments, but is the seat base adjustable nose up/down, height up/down and is the seat back adjustable in recline?

For guys running harnesse with the seats, where did you anchor the shoulder harnesses?

TIA :D

JT

BTW, if I do swap seats in my Cobra are pristine, 12,000 miles on car, gray suede. Any interest?

I had a set they come in 2 sizes from what I remember...I bought the smaller ones and wished I had of gone bigger...I am 5'10 185lbs.

Didn't find it changed the height...maybe just a little lower if anything....as mentioned above they only recline and back/forward.

I just used the normal seat belt so can't comment on the harness.

Im 6'2" 220 with the regular width seats and they fit fine :??: The wide version is for 38-40"+ waists

Ya maybe 1-2" drop

My only complaint with the stock seats is that they are too high! i want to sit lower in the car. Love the looks of these, can anyone confirm whether they drop the seating position or not?

The issue with sitting higher is it gives you more leg room. If you lower the seat towards the floor you have less leg room.

Are you all running these with your stock back seats? Im loving the LG1's but im thinking it will look odd with my back seats and I really dont want to do a seat delete.

Also do they all come in suede or what? The ones on American Muscle dont look like yours Jefe.

I have lg1's with a rear seat delete. Love em!! The headrest is a little low but that's hardly noticeable. They are über comfy even on long trips. I am 5'11 220 and have reg with and they are perfect!

Maybe pick up a set of 04 dark suede rear seats. I feel like those would match nicely.

No they come in 7 variations.

I bet American Muscle can get them in suede but the ones on their site are black cloth. They make black cloth, black leather and black suede. Some sites call it micro-suede

Here you can see the difference compared to my pics:

i'll probably end up making a new thread, but figured i'd tack on to this one 1st. i bought a set of A4's, a rear seat delete and 4pt harnesses. OP, did you end up getting these or not? i haven't done the install yet and was wondering if/where you mounted the harness.

also, i talked to my friend at the shop that does work for me. he said they can shave down the rails to sit lower. 6'2"(which isn't even that tall) and i hit my head getting in and out.

I loved the look of the stock seats but hated everything else about them. You wont regret getting the LG1s. Keep your stock seats just in case or sell them and make money like I did

Never really thought of different seats but those look awesome!
I think the stockers are pretty comfy/supportive so what makes these so much better?

First time I've heard that actually...stock seats feel like bar stools compared to these or most aftermarket seats. After a 5 hour road trip on stock seats it was no question I was swapping them out. After 2 minutes in these I was positive I was selling my stock ones. That was well over 2 years ago, don't regret it one bit
