Read the book Leadership and Self-Deception "Getting out of the Box" I was amazed how much was applicable to my personal life and how it was changing how I see the people in my life and how they were seeing me.

A decent read that helps in life and work.

I'll never know how that works until I am a parent? Again, no. Look, both my parents are useless piles of shit & neither raised me. I turned out pretty damn well. This is something you don't need to be a parent to understand.

Read through the first few pages the other day, haven’t kept up with all the other comments... if it makes you feel better, my wife agrees that it’s time your wife goes back to work. Kids are little and at home, makes perfect sense for your wife to be there. They’re old enough now that they’re mostly self-sufficient, and in school most of the day.
