I hope this is close to the right forum.
I need to add some more air line in my shop. I have read that PEX Al PEX is very suitable. The other option is the kit Summit Racing sells.
Any do's or don'ts and experience with using either.
Cost of additional fittings on the Summit are high price. Have not priced the PEX fittings yet.
I have one 60' wall and can use that much more on the back wall.
Can use 200' easily.

I set mine up with copper. Soldered the joints, used bell reducers for 2 20' pull down hose reels. Each end of the shop also got quick disconnects for air hookup.

When I installed the air compressor in my garage I used this Maxline kit/piping (like the one Summit sells):

Additional T fittings I needed:

I used these to mount the piping to the wall:

Here you can see my compressor in the corner. The line going up the wall closest to the front wall is the supply line coming off the compressor.

I have 3 air stations in my garage. This one on the left side of the garage.

This one on the right side of the garage and you can see the piping going towards the front of the garage. I have a retractable hose reel between my garage doors as my third air station.

I ran the primefit off Amazon, easy plug and play without any issues in 4 or 5 years. Have 2 runs in the garage and then one coming inside to my workshop in the basement.

I use all cordless tools these days and ditched the hoses and noisy compressor.
This. I have pancake for tires and stuff but now with the m18 inflator don’t even use that hardly

But I don’t paint or anything either
