alright I will soon have a 2.90 RR non-slip pulley, and i have a K&N Aircharger FIPK on the way as well.

Do i need to upgrade to a set of colder spark plugs?

If so i was thinkin about Denso's...any comments?

any help is greatly appreciated.

I assume that you will be getting a chip as well. I asked the same question a few weeks ago. I am planning in getting the same pulley as you. I got mixed answers between the NGK TR6's and Denso IT 20. I was told that the IT 22 is too cold of a plug to be used with a 2.90 pulley.

yeah, pulley will not be immediately installed, until purchase of Predator...

I heard NGK TR6's are actually hotter than stock (true?)

so Denso IT 20's? aight, thanks for the info and help!

#IT22 all the way. Too cold? A WOT run will clear things right up.

I switched to NGK TR6's two weeks ago and the power delivery is alot smoother over my stock plugs. I shift 300 rpm higher than I used to when cruising because it is so much smoother.

BTW - my wife didn't know that I had changed anything and commented on the "feel" of the car when we went to dinner that night (she knows about cars because she helps me wrench on my Super Gas race car)

I have also heard good things about the Denso IT20's

Hope this helps - Ron

Still running the #AR103 plugs. 03CobraCCC was thinking about Denso Iridiums so I thought I would push #IT22 over #IT20.

I've been running the IT-22s since May. No problems to date. That was the plug that Rick (Amazon Racing) recommended. :)

im not a big fan of iridium myself, way to overpriced and fragile. I went to copper plugs myself...autolite 103's, bout the same as TR6's.

I thought they were fragile, too, but quickly found that they're very easy to work with. I adjusted all eight with a regular gapping tool (against the advice of many) and had no problems at all. They are definitely a superior plug and worth the extra money. JMO.
