King Cobra or Exedy Mach 350/400. Also get a Ford clutch fork, Ford throw out bearing, Ford Pilot bearing, Ford pivot stud, Ford or MM cable, MM clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster, Ford bolt and dowel kit.

Generally, you want your clutch to be the weakpoint in your driveline. Idea being you blow up your clutch rather than something thats really expensive. For a bolt on car, King Cobra is more than sufficient.

Exactly. That's why you don't buy a Spec for a stock tranny.

King Cobra is OOP tho, has been for like 10 years. All the "King Cobra" clutches out there are just Luk/Valeo/Exedy generics. Which is fine... those will hold 400ft lbs. Can't beat a Luk Gold for $125 on Rockauto on a budget for a stock rebuild. I usually recommend the Exedy Mach 400 to ppl because if they ever want to power adder the car later, it's rated to 500ft lbs at the crank which means it's right at the safe limit of the stock engine and will let go before the stock 10 spline input shaft snaps also.
