clutch pedal shake, rattle and TOB squeal

Ok ya I see the crack. Also looks like the whole assy was spinning in the fork which is not right.

Might get one on hand if you are in a hurry to get back on the road or tear it down and take a look. I wouldnt be surprised if the retaining spring tabs are damaged.

I have never found any problem with the fork or pivot , but if the all is not round on the pivot , or the fork has damage , replace them .
Either way , they are cheap , and do need generous lube at the pivot ball , and the inside of the t.o. bearing where it slides on the sleeve .

Ordered the TOB, clutch fork, lightning force head cooling mod and retainer sleeve.

How bad of a job is the retainer sleeve?

Simple , trans is already out , and I think it is 4 bolts to remove .

hoping to get this all tackled for new years weekend! parts should all be here by then.

I am sure you can find a front view,of the T56, and see how the sleeve is held in place.
It doubles as the front bearing retainer in most of the applications I have worked on ,tho I do t remember for certain on that application .

Some use this method and some press the sleeve in. If you don't have a press a local machine shop could press this in for you.
